Very heavy finely detailed and in near mint condition! These thoroughbred horses are looking out their barn door windows. They were created by the Seymour Products Company, a successor to the Seymour Manufacturing Company which was founded in Connecticut in 1880. Seymour Products existed briefly for just a few years after its split from the Seymour Manufacturing Company in 1925. (See Kuritzky / De Costa p 15) These figural bookends are finished in a chocolate brown bronze look patina. Fully marked.
