Sir Martin FROBISHER Royal Doulton, NOT Forbisher! Really!! He made 3 trips in search of the North West Passage! No luck but Canada named Frobisher Bay in honour of his efforts. The plate is part of the "Nautical Series" Royal Doulton produced in the early 20th Century. It is in great condition, just some very minor loss to left side of the red ring. A striking plate no doubt helped by the fact that Sir Martin Frobisher (1535-1594) was a handsome man! Love the clipper ships around the border!10.5" (26.5 cm). FREE SHIPPING.
