The first card has a lovely image of roses on the front which has been glued to the surface and the statement ‘December 25th’. The coloured roses are surrounded with a further design of roses, ivy leaves and cut-out sections. Inside is the Christmas greeting from Elsie Holmes of Brierley Hill. It has a gilt ribbon tie. The second card has a Christmas message on the front with a design of Christmas bells, lily of the valley and a bow. When opened, it has a special greeting from Mrs & Harry Bullus of Brierley Hill. This card has a pale lilac cord. The third card has a flap at the front with the initial ‘B’ and beneath this, decoration with an ivy leaf and a Christmas message, with a slightly different Christmas greeting for 1920 inside, again from Mrs & Harry Bullus of Brierley Hill. This card has a cream cord. The cards are in good condition for age although there is some loss of the opening edge of the first card. First card 4.9 ins (12.4cm) x 3.25 ins (8.5cm).
