This is a rare find as this iconic Box Brownie No 2A is still in its original cardboard box. These dated from the early 20th century – this particular model was introduced in 1924 and manufactured in either the USA or Canada by the Eastman Kodak Company (this example being made in Toronto, Canada). The camera includes its interior with spools and appears to be in good condition - please see images for various aspects of the box and camera. The cardboard box is somewhat distressed but all present and could be reinforced. The Box Brownie was an important early camera for the people and as such is highly collectible. Box measures 6 ins (15.2cm) x 5.25 ins (13.2cm) x 3.5 ins (8.8cm). Weight 736 grams. This item appears in my book, “Antique Boxes, Inside and Out” on page 285
