It is unusual to find a group of matching fashion accessories. This trio consists of a brass perfume bottle, a brass notebook with paper leaves (pencil not present, but having a ring at the top for the potential of attachment to a chatelaine) and a small container which may possibly have a held a very small comb. All three have matching finely patterned brass with parallel narrow bands and oval cartouches and could well be Art Deco. They are in very good condition for age with some used and removed pages in the book, and the missing pencil (which could be fairly easily replaced) and a slight indentation at the back of the perfume bottle. These would have been housed either in a handbag or within a toiletry or needlework/sewing box. They give an interesting insight to fashion accessories for M’lady in the early 20th century. Maximum length of small container 2.8 ins (7cm). Combined weight 82 grams.
