A rather unusual leather (probably crocodile) vest chain with a small disc that would have passed through a buttonhole with the watch and leather surround in the top coat pocket. The central watch is marked on the dial and on the mechanism for C Bucherer, Swiss and additionally Lucerne on the dial. Early 20th century. Maximum length approx. 6.3 ins(16cm). Maximum diameter 1.9 ins (5cm). Diameter of watch face approx. 1 ins (2.75cm). Weight 20 grams. In good condition for age. The leather is slightly worn but intact and the watch ticks when wound.
