These three vintage buckles each have a wide hook and loop attachment and bars at the back for fastening a fabric belt. The first is of gilt filigree metal with the addition of green glass beads. The second is of brown plastic (possibly bakelite) with silvered metal and the third is of steel combined with orange (probable) plastic decoration. They are in good condition for age except the steel example which has rusting on one half of the buckle. These all came from the one owner and would date to the first half of the 20th century. They would be a nice addition to a colourful collection of buckles or possibly to add to a vintage outfit. Width of gilt and green buckle 3.25 ins (8.2cm) x 1.6 ins (4.2cm). Combined weight 36 grams.
