This is a most dainty small glass perfume bottle with silver cap. It would most likely originally have lived within a Georgian sewing/needlework box or necessaire, or amongst a collection of objet de vertu. It is of oval shape and the neck is grooved for the small silver cap. There is no stopper but this may have always been the case. This charming and rare little piece is in very good condition for age and would be a significant addition to a collection of perfume bottles or other special items. Length 1.6 ins (4cm). Weight 6 grams.
