This is a lovely example of typical Victorian tools for the sewing/needlework lady. It is created in the form of a small book with the front being of decorative silver and the back of leather. Inside are four flannel leaves for needles and some of these contain their original fine needles. The silver and leather is in very good condition for age but the flannel does have a few small moth nibbles – but it is special for the leaves to still be present. This would be a lovely addition to your collection of needle books/needlebooks or to place in a Victorian sewing/needlework box. 1.75 ins (4.4cm) x 1.5 ins (3.7cm). Weight 6 grams.
