This is a lovely example of a sterling silver tatting shuttle that is marked on both sides with the word ‘Sterling’ and appears also to have a maker’s mark ‘N & H’. It is decorated with a foliate engraved design with a central plain cartouche on each side – one has the incised initial ‘E’ which presumably was that of the owner. The points that are closed on one end seem to be very slightly bent and the points at the other end are a little open but otherwise this piece is in very good condition. 2.5 ins (6cm) x 0.5 ins (1.5cm) x 0.25 ins (0.5cm). Weight 6 grams. Insured Air Mail Post with tracking to the USA would be $30.00 USD - with no tracking is cheaper. For shipping cost to other countries, please contact us.
