These are two interesting, clear cabinet cards of gentlemen from the later Victorian era. Each sports an impressive moustache and beard; one wears a bowtie and the other a tie with a probable star brooch at the neckline and each has a prominent watch chain with T-bar. One has a separate chain with a single fob and the other has multiple items hanging from the buttonhole. The image of the older gentleman was photographed by Chas. T. Stuart of Hartford, Conn. and the other is by Chas. W. Johnson, Heliographic Artist of Monterey, Cal. Both images are in sepia and are very clear and crisp and in very good condition for age. These cabinet cards give a very sharp depiction of styles for gentlemen of the late Victorian era. Each measures width 4.1 ins (10.5cm) x height 6.4 ins (16.2cm). Combined weight 36 grams. Registered Air Mail Post to the USA would be $12.00 USD. For shipping cost to other countries, please contact us.
