These four cabinet cards show ladies displaying a variety of fashion accessories of the Victorian to Edwardian era. The first shows a young woman wearing a watch and short vest chain, and there also appears to be a T-bar at her throat, and she wears earrings (photographer Emerson, Massachusetts, 1890s). The next lady is standing beside an ornate chair and wears a brooch watch on her bodice – photographer Mateusek, Chicago. The next lady is probably Edwardian. She is seated on a garden bench and is dressed for walking. She wears a hat, belt with small probable chatelaine and in her hands are a parasol and a pair of gloves. Her faithful hound is lying at her feet. The photographer here is Bennett & Sons of Worcester & Malvern (UK). The last lady is in full Winter outfit with fur hat, fur-cuffed jacket and her hands are placed within a decorative muff attached to a chain around her neck. The photographer is Gagen & Fraser of Toronto, Canada and this is dated 1881. All of these images are in very good condition for age although two may be a little faded. They are all in various tints of light to dark sepia. These would make a most interesting collection of ladies fashions and accessories of the era. Each measures approximately 6.5 ins (18.5cm) x 4.25 ins (10.6cm). Combined weight 80 grams.
Insured Air Mail Post with tracking to the USA would be $22.50 USD - with no tracking is cheaper. For shipping cost to other countries, please contact us.
