This is a pair of delightful small salt cellars by the prestigious maker, Daum Nancy. Apparently such small glass items were the smallest made by this maker. These examples have charming landscape scenes that are near identical with green grass and foliage, misty blue/mauve hills and pale brown foliaged trees. The design of the greenery and tree leaves is raised from the background. The actual glass is of semi-opaque grey colour. Each is signed on the base Daum Nancy, with a mark (the Cross of Lorraine) and the number 13. The condition is very good for age. These would be a fantastic addition to a collection of these delightful small works of art by this renowned maker and are particularly desirable with the landscape theme.
Maximum diameter 1.6 ins (4cm). Maximum height 1.25 ins (3cm). Combined weight 84 grams.
Insured Air Mail Post with tracking to the USA would be $92.00 USD - with no tracking is cheaper. For shipping cost to other countries, please contact us.
