This is an interesting pair of apparent slipper or shoe tops. They are constructed from fairly thick thread and feature a design of roses in similar style to the hand-worked Berlin tapestry patterns. Unfortunately there is no history as to the date or shoe design but when folded, they have the shape and form of a foot covering. The condition is good for age with expected fraying at the edges. These would be an intriguing addition to a collection of earlier textiles. Maximum width 8.5 ins (21.5cm) x maximum length 11.5 ins (29.2cm). Weight 2 grams.
Insured Air Mail Post with tracking to the USA would be $28.50 USD - with no tracking is cheaper. For shipping cost to other countries, please contact us.
