This cabinet card features a most attractive young lady wearing a striking and appealing outfit with high-necked collar and braid decoration. She is also wearing a guard chain with small slide and the chain loops up to a watch pinned high on the bodice. There also appears to be another item hanging from the centre of the chain. The photograph was taken by Etters Studio, Somersworth, N.H. The condition is very good for age with one or two small stains. Width 4.25 ins x 6.5 ins. (11cm x 16.5cm). This item appears in my book, "How the Watch was Worn - A Fashion for 500 Years”.
