This intriguing sepia cabinet card shows three gentlemen similarly dressed, wearing hats. As they are not wearing vests, it is apparent that each has a watch with chain attached at the waist. Each is holding a clay pipe in one hand and what appears to be a musical instrument in the other. The image was created by F.W. Streit of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The condition is very good for age with a small split one top corner. This would be a most interesting image to add to a collection of early photographs. Approx width 4 ins x x height 6.5 ins. (11cm x 16.5cm). This item appears in my book, "How the Watch was Worn - A Fashion for 500 Years". Registered Air Mail Post to the USA would be $13.00.
