Double deck of wonderful cards published by Waddington c.1979, celebrating the 1976 London Olympics. It appears that the cards were published in a limited edition of 4000 packs, and distributed by Stanley Gibbons. Each card in the deck has an illustration of a medal winner from the 1976 Olympics

Each deck has 52 suited cards, plus 2 Jokers. One of the decks is mint and sealed, but it shows an extra card announcing the deck; the open deck has an extra card with an offer to send away for a book by Sylvia Mann. The cards are bridge size, measuring 88mm x 57mm, and come in the original box.

As noted, one of the decks is mint and sealed. The open deck is in excellent condition, “as new” or nearly so, as is the box.
