Interesting deck of cards titled "Oliver North Pack of Lies" created and published by a group called, "Clean Up Congress," an environmental advocacy group founded by distinguished historian Woody Holton, son of former Virginia Governor Linwood Holton, to promote pro-environmental legislation and policies. "Clean-Up Congress" actively campaigned against Oliver North when he ran for U.S. Senate in 1994, and this deck of cards was part of that opposition. Each of the cards quotes a public statement of North at one end, and then, at the other end, following the word "Actually . . ." a statement of what "Clean Up Congress" believes to be the truth. There are two images in this listing showing the Aces in the deck from each end, illustrating the approach used. There are 52 cards, plus 2 Jokers. The cards are wide, measuring 90mm x 64mm. There is no box.
The cards are in "as new" condition.
