Excellent set of antique Austrian cards made by Titze & Schinkay. The courts are the “Large Crown” Wiener Bild pattern, and there is not only a tax stamp that identifies the maker, but also one that reliably dates the cards to the period 1877-1881.

The deck is complete at 32 cards (4 x Ace, 7-King), suitable for skat and other 32-card games. The cards are bridge size, measuring 90mm x 60mm. There is no box.

The cards are in what I would describe as excellent lightly used condition for a 140 year old deck, except for some very light soiling that particularly affects the Ace of Hearts. The faces of all 32 cards are shown, so that condition may be evaluated.

Thanks for visiting.
