Delightful game made by Handa of Copnehagen, Denmark’s leading card maker, c.1950s. The game, called “Tips Kabalen,” is based in some way upon Danish football (soccer) pools. All writing on all cards and on the box is in Danish, and after considerable time with Google Translator, I am still not sure how the game is played or even what the object of the game is. What I do know is that it is quite rare.
The game consists of 54 total cards – 10 sets of 4 numbered cards with green soccer balls, 12 cards with soccer players, 1 blank card, and 1 card with the rules for playing the game. The cards are wide, measuring 91mm x 62mm. The cards come in the original Handa card box.
The cards are in very good used condition; two of the soccer player cards (separately pictured) have foxing/staining at the top, and there is edge wear throughout the deck. The box is in good condition; the top flap has separated and there is general wear and soiling.
Thanks for visiting.
