Two sets of Pfister chocolate wrappers, each consisting of the cards in an AG Muller jass deck. One of the sets has Swiss suits; the other has French suits. I assume that Pfister had a contract with Muller, permitting the chocolatier to use Muller designs. For Muller, it is helpful advertising. From information on a chocolate wrapper website, I infer that these wrappers probably date to the period 1985-1997. But I don’t really know.
Each set actually consists of 40 wrappers – 36 wrappers constituting a jass deck, and 4 cards with only a suit symbol in the center. The 4 extra cards of each set (i.e., the 4 suit symbols) are shown in the lead picture for this listing. The next 4 pictures show all cards in each of the 4 Swiss suits, and the final 4 pictures show all cards in each of the French suits. Each wrapper measures 73mm x 40mm.
I don’t know much about chocolate wrappers, but I think these are in excellent condition, clean and remarkably free of tears. That said, in most cases it is possible to see where the ends were once connected and were then separated to allow the chocolate to be eaten.
