Carter Politicards Playing Cards, Sealed, c.1980

Sealed deck of the Carter "Politicards," copyright 1980 by Politicards. It is a bridge/whist size deck, measuring 89mm x 57mm. The first two images show the sealed deck for sale; the remaining pictures of the faces of the cards are from an open deck.

The deck has 52 cards, plus 2 jokers, and an insert card identifying the political figures depicted. Each card is an engaging color caricature designed by Keith Nichols. The Aces depict the Republican (elephant) and Democratic (donkey) animal symbols; the reamaining cards portray a different prominent political figure of the Carter era.
