Recent 1975 edition by Bielefelder of skat cards made in 1925 by VSSF, known commonly as the “German Mining Industry” cards. The cards were also printed in recent editions by ASS and Coeur. This Bielefelder edition also includes the original tax stamp on the Daus of Hearts. The 1925 designs were by Otto Pech, perhaps best known in playing card circles for his designs on a set of Schwarzer Peter cards.
The deck is a German-suited skat deck, with 32 cards (Daus, 7-10, U, O, K). The cards are long, measuring 100mm x 57mm, and come in a plastic box that is probably not original.
The cards are “as new,” and the box is in excellent condition.
