Beautiful cards made by Coeur for the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. The Jokers are the standard Jokers used for decades in F.X. Schmid decks, and the spade Ace says “De Luxe,” a Schmid brand. According to the World Web Playing Card Museum, Coeur took over the printing of these cards in 1998, and so I have dated the deck c.2000. The backs show the crossed tennis rackets of the Wimbledon Championships.
The deck has 52 suited cards, plus 2 Jokers. The cards are bridge size, measuring 89mm x 57mm, and come in a plastic box that is probably not original.
The cards are in excellent condition, lightly used if at all. The plastic box is in excellent condition as well.
