Oversize playing cards published by Diesel S.p.A. to promote its Style Labs c.2000. I am uncertain who actually made the cards. The faces of the cards feature Diesel models in the company’s fashions, photographed by Geoffroy de Boismenu. The deck has the title “Rien Ne Va Plus” (literally, “Nothing Goes”), a phrase used by roulette croupiers in casinos to announce that “no more bets” may be placed.
The deck has 52 suited cards, plus a Joker, plus an extra card announcing the deck and those that contributed to the photographs. The cards are extremely large, measuring 170mm x 119mm, and some in the original box.
The cards are “as new.” The box is in very good condition, with minor shelf wear at the corners, evidence of handling, and the remains of what must have been a price tag in the upper right corner of the lid.
Thanks for visiting.
