More from Two For His Heels
Mint, sealed (cards, not boxes) “twin decks” of the “Les Cris de Paris” cards made by Grimaud c.1969, based upon an early deck from the period 1830-1840. The term “twin decks” is in quotes, because the faces of the court cards are different between the two decks. This can be seen by comparing the faces of the cards that show through the cellophane of the two decks – 2 Kings of Hearts, but with different images. This is true of all of the court cards, Aces and Jokers, and for this reason, the decks are not available separately. The faces of the court cards, Aces and Jokers can be seen at the World Web Playing Card Museum (WWPCM #03371).
Each deck has 52 suited cards, plus 2 Jokers, plus an extra card announcing the deck. The cards are wide, measuring 89mm x 63mm, and come in the original boxes.
The cards are mint and sealed. The boxes are “as new.”
