Excellent “Bridge Wedding Party Game," published c.1930 by E.T.W. Dennis & Sons., Ltd. of London. It is game number G676 in the Dennis "Dainty Series" of games. The "Dainty Series" began as a series of postcards, but eventually came to include a series of party games, including "Bridge Wedding."
The game consists of 10 identical folded “Bridge Wedding” cards with a series of questions inside. It is my understanding that the answers to these questions are placed at various locations at the wedding festivities, and that the object of the game is to find those answers and write them down in response to the questions inside the cards. In addition, there is a card advertising other "Dainty Series" games, with a key to the answers on the other side.
The backs of the folded cards have a striking art deco illustration. They are very large, measuring 144mm x101mm. The game is in its original box.
The game is unused and the cards are in excellent condition. The box is in very good condition, with a modest amount of shelf wear including slight abrasions to the image on the lid.
Thanks for visiting.
