Delightful skat deck made by ASS c.1977 called VIP-Skat, with VIP standing for “Vorteile im Paket,” which I believe translates Benefits Package in English. If I am close to a correct translation of the words on the extra card, the deck is advertising a benefits package available for tourists in St. Georg, a part of Hamburg. And the very humorous designs on the court cards and Aces (artist unknown) illustrate the leisure activities (i.e., hunting, fishing, golf, ballooning, etc.) that can be enjoyed.
The deck has the usual 32 skat cards, plus the extra card noted with advertising on both sides. The cards are slightly large bridge size, measuring 91mm x 59mm, and come in a plastic box that is probably original.
The cards are “as new.” The box is in excellent condition.
Thanks for visiting.
