Absolutely beautiful modern edition of tarot cards originally published in 1835 by Gumppenberg, featuring designs by Carlo Dellarocca, whose name appears beneath the shield held by the King of Bastoni. It is my understanding that a total of 2500 were made in this facsimile modern edition, of which 500 were separately numbered for sale in the United States; and 2000 were separately numbered for distribution outside the United States. This is no. 1727 of that subset of 2000.

The set has the usual 78 cards, plus a card that introduces the deck. The cards are somewhat small for tarot cards, measuring 110mm x 57mm. They are wrapped in in a cardboard “sleeve” that also announces the deck, and the cards and sleeve are contained in the original box.

The cards and packaging are in excellent condition, “as new” or very nearly so.

Thanks for visiting.
