Grimaud “Vins de France” Playing Cards, Gilles Sacksick Designs, c.1991Grimaud “Vins de France” Playing Cards, Gilles Sacksick Designs, c.1991Grimaud “Vins de France” Playing Cards, Gilles Sacksick Designs, c.1991

Mint, sealed deck of wonderful cards made by Grimaud, celebrating the wines of France. It features the delightful original designs of Gilles Sacksick. According to the World Web Playing Card Museum, this deck was printed in 2 editions, 1 in 1980 and 1 in 1991. The box housing this deck is shown as the box for the 1991 edition, and so I have adopted that date as the year the deck was made. There is also an open deck of these cards for sale in this shop, and the faces of the cards can be seen there (see, T00002956).

The deck has 52 cards, plus 2 terrific Jokers, plus a card introducing the deck. The cards are wide, measuring 88mm x 63mm, and come in the original box.

The cards are mint and sealed. The box is in very good condition as well, with slight shelf wear at the corners and a spot on the back where it appears that a tag was removed.

Thanks for visiting.
