A terrific deck that is called “Le Jeu des Têtes” in the literature, probably based upon the fact that the brilliant designs of the court cards and jokers by artist Edouard Pastor are bust size portraits that fill the entire card space. However, I do not find the word “têtes” anywhere on the box or cards. The deck was published by Pastor Création which presumably means that it was self-published by the artist. Conceivably the artist made the cards, but that seems less likely.
The deck has 52 suited cards, plus 2 Jokers, plus 1 extra card announcing the deck. The cards are slightly small bridge size, measuring 86mm x 56mm. there is no box. The cards are “as new.”
