Absolutely gorgeous deck of cards made by Carta Mundi c.1971, for Philips Ontspannings Centrum – in English, “Philips Relaxation Center” – located in Eindhoven, a city in the Netherlands. I have also seen this Philips facility translated in English as the Philips “Leisure” Center, and have seen descriptions of concerts held there. I think that “leisure” or “recreation” may convey a better sense of the Center than “relaxation.” The deck features brilliant original designs by an unknown artist.
The deck has 52 cards, plus 2 Jokers, plus a card introducing the Philips facility. The cards are bridge size, measuring 89mm x 58mm. There is no box.
The cards are “as new.”
