Wonderful set of non-standard jass cards, featuring the charming original designs of Eifriede Weidenhaus, made by AG Muller c.1967 for Dr. Brum-Antonioli, apparently a pharmacist in Zurich. The cards are given the name “Jeu des Alchimistes” and the illustrations on the cards are a kind of whimsical historical tribute to alchemy.
The deck is a jass deck with 36 suited cards, and 1 extra card announcing the deck. The card are large, with square corners, measuring 100mm x 65mm, and come in the original box.
The cards are “as new,” and the box is in excellent condition, with modest shelf wear, especially at the corners.
