Beautiful deck of Braille cards by United States Playing Card Co., with striking backs, made for sale at Givenchy. Based upon the Ace of Spades and Jokers used in the deck, I have dated the set to the 1970s. This is a single deck, in a double box. It appears that the box once contained two decks (there are 2 sample cards), although it is difficult to understand how this could be, since the single deck is too thick to fit on one side of the double box. Conceivably, the Braille cards fit together when sealed in cellophane such that 2 decks could fit in the box. But whatever might once have been possible, now that the deck has been released from the cellophane, the raised dots of the cells make that impossible.

The deck has 52 cards, plus 2 Jokers. They are bridge size, measuring 89mm x 57mm, and come in the original double deck box described above. The single deck fits comfortably in the double deck box.

The cards are “as new.” The box is in excellent condition.

Thanks for visiting.
