Mint, sealed deck of cards made by Carta Mundi for Hawaiian Heritage Playing Card Co., featuring historical images of Hawaii and its people during the period from its discovery by Captain Cook in 1778 until the islands were annexed to the United States in 1898. There are images on all suited cards and on the Jokers. On the side of the box there is an acknowledgment with thanks of the co-operation of The Bishop Museum of Honolulu, The State Archives of Hawaii, The National Maritime Museum, and The British Museum of London. The deck is mint and sealed, and I have elected not to open it, but the faces of many of the cards can be seen at the World Web Playing Card Museum (WWPCM #02870).

The deck has 52 suited cards, plus 2 Jokers, plus an extra card announcing the deck. The cards are wide measuring 89mm x 63mm, and come in the original box.

The cards are mint and sealed. The box has noticeable shelf wear, especially at the top edge.

There is another mint, sealed deck of these cards with a better box also for sale in this shop (T00003109).

Thanks for visiting.
