Mint, sealed (cards, not box) double deck of cards made for the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, c.1990, by Special Design Products, a subsidiary of John Waddington, Ltd. that made special order advertising decks even after the sale of Waddington’s playing card business to Hasbro. The brand had its own Joker and Ace of Spades. The Joker can be seen through the cellophane of these decks, and the Ace of Spades can be seen at the World Web Playing Card Museum (WWPCM #03835). The backs of these cards have the St. Andrews logo.
I assume that each deck has at least 52 suited cards, plus 2 Jokers. The entry for Special Design Products at the WWPCM also shows an SDP bridge scoring card, and there may be bridge scoring cards in these decks. The cards are bridge size, and come in the original St. Andrews custom box.
As noted the cards are mint and sealed. The box is “as new.”
Thanks for visiting.
