Brown & Bigelow “Joey Bishop” Playing Cards, “Son-of-a- Gun,” c.1975Brown & Bigelow “Joey Bishop” Playing Cards, “Son-of-a- Gun,” c.1975Brown & Bigelow “Joey Bishop” Playing Cards, “Son-of-a- Gun,” c.1975

Mint, sealed deck of cards made by Brown & Bigelow for comedian Joey Bishop, the longest lived and last surviving member of the Rat Pack. According to Wikipedia, the picture of Bishop on the backs of the cards shows Bishop in 1975, a time when he was the most frequent guest host for Johnny Carson on “The Tonight Show,” and so I have dated the cards accordingly. Beneath the picture of Bishop on the cards is his catchphrase, “Son-of- gun.”

It is likely that the deck has 52 suited cards, plus 2 Jokers, and I assume that the faces of the cards are standard B&B cards. The cards are bridge size, and come in the original box.

As noted, the cards are mint and sealed.

Thanks for visiting.
