Unusual set of bridge table markers, each with a painted metal base. Each has a veneer front that is attached to the metal base, painted in gold, with painted black numbers and other colored decoration on them. I do not know if the veneer is metal or wood or some other kind of material. The metal base of each is painted brown, and shaped with a “channel” in such a way that they may have been intended to double as napkin holders – but that is speculation. There is a small hole drilled in the back of each whose purpose is unclear, at least to me.
The veneer front of each is approximately 40mm x 33mm and the width of each ”channel” is approximately 35mm.
The markers seem to me to be in excellent condition. The brown paint on the metal base of each is worn away in places on the bottom, presumably from rubbing against a table surface.
Thanks for visiting.
