Mint, sealed (cards, not box) double deck of a set of the “Bannister Babies” cards made by Brown & Bigelow c.1954, what the Dawson/Hochman Encyclopedia calls “Bannister Babies II.” “Bannister Babies I,” also made by Brown & Bigelow, featured pictures of babies with political captions below the pictures. The set listed here, “Bannister Babies II,” also has captions, but they relate to card playing. The backs have advertising for KRON-TV, long time NBC affiliate in San Francisco.
I assume that each deck has at least 52 suited cards, plus 2 Jokers. I believe that each deck has the same baby photos. The cards are bridge size, measuring approximately 89mm x 57mm, and come in the original hard plastic box, also with KRON-TV advertising.
The cards are mint and sealed, and the box is “as new.”
