Excellent deck of cards made by Fournier c.1967, called “"Trajes Regionales de Espana" (“Regional Costumes of Spain”), featuring original designs depicting traditional Spanish costumes by Celedonio Perellón. The deck was published to commemorate the card maker’s centennial, i.e., 1868-1968, and there is original artwork on every card.
The deck has 52 cards, plus 2 Jokers, plus an insert card announcing the deck, plus a fold out map showing the regions to which the various costumes are indigenous with descriptions of the deck in 4 languages on the back. The cards are wide, measuring 89mm x 63mm, and have gold gilt on the corners. They come in the original box.
The cards, box and map insert are “as new.”
