Wonderful deck made by Grimaud, celebrating the cheeses of France, with delightful illustrations on the Jokers, Aces and court cards. The cards are accompanied by a small paper insert in French describing the cheeses, that is written by Fernand Woutaz. He is credited with “idées et textes,” but I do not think he is responsible for the art work on the cards.

The deck has 52 cards, plus 2 terrific Jokers, plus a card introducing the deck. The cards are wide, measuring 88mm x 63mm, and come in the original box.

The cards are in excellent condition, “as new” or very nearly so. The box is "as new" as well, except for very slight shelf wear at the corners.

Thanks for visiting.
