Mint, sealed double deck of cards published by SOO Line Railroad c.1955, maker unknown but perhaps revealed if the decks are opened. The backs portray two different scenes, called by Bollhagen “Log in the Water” and “Fisherman,” and they are two of many such decks with scenic backs that SOO Line published in or about that year.
I believe that each deck has 52 cards, plus 1 Joker, plus 1 Extra Joker (shown in Bollhagen) with advertising for SOO Line that says, “Enjoy America’s Enchanting Wonderland,” plus a Map Card that is visible through the wrapper (also shown in Bollhagen). I do not know what the Joker looks like (as distinct from the “Extra Joker”) and don’t know if there is a special Ace of Spades for these decks. The cards are bridge size, measuring 90mm x 58mm, and the two decks come in the original SOO Line Railroad box.
The cards are mint and sealed, and the box is “as new.” This is a wonderful set of railroad cards.
