Beautiful pin-up deck made by Brown & Bigelow for J.T. Slocomb, a manufacturer of small metal measuring devices (i.e., micrometers, etc.), c.1961. The design on the backs, "Flirtatious Felicia," is a Fritz Willis design, and I have dated the deck to the year when Willis was hired to revamp B&B's Artist Sketch Pad calendar.
The deck has 52 cards, plus 2 Redislip Jokers. The cards are bridge size, measuring 89mm x 58mm and come in the original box with the J.T. Slocomb name on it. The box is unusual, because it is plain white except for the Slocomb name and the sample card. I tend to think the deck was probably given out a Slocomb company function.
The cards are in superb condition, "as new" or nearly so, and the box is in very good condition, with extremely light soiling in a couple of places and modest shelf wear.
Thanks for visiting.
