Excellent set of gaigel cards made by ASS, with the "Wurttemberg Doppelbild" court cards designed, made and published by C.L. Wüst until Wüst went out of business in 1931. Wüst's card making business was assumed by ASS, and this deck was published at or about the time of the transition. This is confirmed by the Wüst symbol on the Ace/Daus of Leaves, while the remaining suits show the ASS logo.
The deck is complete at 48 cards, with two each of 24 cards – Daus, 7, 10, Ober, Under, King in each of the four German suits (hearts, bells, acorns, leaves). The cards are long and thin, measuring 100mm x 56mm. There is no box.
The cards are in excellent used condition, with evidence of handling and very slight wear. One of the Tens of Leaves has some ink "bleed" (separately pictured).
Thanks for visiting.
