Delightful skat deck made by Coeur (Altenburger Spielkartenfabrick) c. 1981, known as "Angler," featuring illustrations built around a fishing theme. I do not know the artist that designed the cards. The court cards are double ended in the sense that the two ends of each are slightly different and not precise mirror images of one another.
The deck has German suits and the usual 32 cards of a skat deck, plus 1 extra card that appears to have some kind of skat values. The cards are bridge size, measuring 88mm x 58mm, and come in what may be the original plastic box.
The cards are in excellent condition, "as new" or very nearly so. The box is made of thin plastic, with some clouding and scratches, but with no breaks or cracks.
