Mint double deck of "Far East" playing cards, made by Fournier, c.1980, with designs by Isabel Ibanez de Sendadiano. The designs of the court cards of each suit depict traditional figures and dress from a country of the Far East: Spades for Japan, Hearts for India, Diamonds for Indonesia, and Clubs for China. The Aces have original designs reflecting the cultures of these countries.
Each deck has 52 cards, plus 2 Jokers, and a card announcing the deck. The cards are wide, measuring 88mm x 63mm, with gold gilt at the corners. They come in the original sleeve type box.
One of the two decks is still sealed in its wrapper; the open deck is in mint condition. The sleeve of the box has wear.
There is also a mint, sealed set of these cards for sale in this shop (T0000805).
