Delightful skat deck made by ASS c.1968 for Wicküler, a German beer maker. It has non-standard court cards with tankards/mugs of beer. I do not know the artist. The World Wide Playing Card Museum indicates that this original first edition was limited to 14,000 decks, but I have seen nothing to confirm it.
The deck is complete at 32 cards, the standard skat deck, plus a calendar card for 1969. The cards are bridge size, measuring 91mm x 59mm, and they come in the original Wicküler soft plastic pouch.
The cards are in excellent condition, lightly used if at all. The pouch has been handled and there is some wear.
