Complete deck of one of the famous USPC Edison Mazda decks featuring Maxfield Parrish designs. This is the deck with the back called "Enchantment," made in 1926.
The deck has 52 cards, plus a Joker. The explanatory "Picture" card that usually accompanied these Parrish decks is missing. The cards are bridge size, measuring 89mm x 57mm, and come in what is left of the original box.
The condition of these cards is fair. First, there is general wear and soiling. Second, there are two cards with ink transfer from backs of neighboring cards (separately pictured). Third, the 9 of Diamonds has a serious crease and there are faint creases on two others (separately pictured). On the positive side, the artwork on the backs remains vivid; the backs shown are generally representative of the backs on the cards generally. All that remains of the original box is the outer box, and it is in poor condition. The price asked for the deck reflects these many shortcomings.
