USPC “Shirley Temple” Playing Cards, c.1935
Mint, sealed (cards, not box) double deck of cards made by United States Playing Card Co., c.1935, featuring a different picture on the backs of each deck of famous child star Shirley Temple. The single picture in this listing showing card faces is from an open set of the cards previously for sale in this shop. The cards and box here for sale is shown in the other 3 pictures and each deck is still sealed.
Each deck has 52 cards, plus a Joker, plus a backed advertising card for USPC that serves as an extra joker, plus an unbacked card with auction and contract bridge scoring. The cards are bridge size, measuring 90mm x 58mm.
The cards are mint and sealed. The box is in very good condition, and could be described as excellent, except that the lid has separated at one of the corners.
