Mint, sealed (cards, not box) deck of the cards made by United States Playing Card Co. for Schering Corporation, c.1969, to promote Coricidin cold tablets. The deck features a special “Cold Bug” Joker, Aces that depict cold sufferers, and court cards that depict physicians (Kings), nurses (Queens), and pharmacists (Jacks). The backs show rows of pills with the “Schering” name and logo on them. The pictures of the faces of cards are from an open deck recently sold in this shop. But the cards here for sale are still sealed and are shown in the first two pictures.
The cards are accompanied by a pamphlet that describes the Joker, Aces and court cards, and has advertising for Coricidin. There are 52 cards, plus 2 Jokers. The cards are bridge size, measuring 89mm x 58mm, and come in the original box.
As noted, the cards are mint and sealed. The box is in good condition, structurally quite sound, but with noticeable soiling and staining to the lid.
